Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SimProfile. You must actively accept these terms before using the service. If you do not agree, you may delete your account at any time.

Service Description

SimProfile is a web application operated by Appgineering GbR (hereinafter “Appgineering”) that allows iRacing users to manage consent for displaying their real name on public facing Appgineering services such as Live Timing. The service requires authentication via your iRacing account.

Account & Authentication

You sign in using your iRacing account via OAuth. Appgineering does not store your iRacing password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your iRacing account. By signing in, you authorize SimProfile to access your iRacing profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Consent Management

You may grant or revoke consent for displaying your real name on public facing Appgineering services at any time by toggling the consent setting on your profile page. Changes take effect immediately. All consent changes are logged for compliance and audit purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the service's API without authorization.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Appgineering may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Third-Party Services

SimProfile relies on iRacing for authentication and profile data. Appgineering is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by iRacing or iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. iRacing's own terms of service and privacy policy govern your use of the iRacing platform.

Limitation of Liability

SimProfile is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Appgineering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service (which is zero, as the service is free).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
